First Bounce Accreditation Course
The Diving Asutralia First Bounce course is aimed primarily at non-diving candidates including teachers, parents, community workers, pool attendants as well as divers beginning their coaching careers. It is a pre-cursor to the NCAS Level 1 diving coach accreditation course.
The First Bounce course introduces coaches to basic techniques, safe activities and progressions including jumps up to 3 metre springboard and basic dives off 1 metre. It will be conducted over a maximum 12 hour time frame.
To gain accreditation candidates will, following completion of the course, be required to coach under the supervision of an accredited coach for 25 hours of practical coaching. These hours will be used for competency assessment purposes.
Level 1 Coach Accreditation Course
The Diving Australia Level 1 coach accreditation course is aimed at divers wishing to begin their coaching career as well as First Bounce accredited coaches who wish to further their coaching skills and knowledge to enable them to coach divers in basic dives up to 5 metre platform.

Level 2 Coach Accreditation Course
Diving Australia conducts Level 2 Coach Accreditation Courses for Level 1 coaches who wish to upgrade their diving coaching skills and qualifications. A course is conducted nationally every 18 Months to 2 years depending on the level of interest in the course.
The Level 2 Coach Accreditation Course is aimed at coaches who have achieved Level 1 accreditation and been regularly coaching for a minimum of 2 years. It provides coaches with the knowledge and skills required to successfully coach divers to Australian Age, Elite Junior and Open Championships.
